Mariela Bergamin
Spanish and English
Spanish Team Leader
Hello, everyone! ¡Hola a todos!
My name is Mariela Bergamin. I’m from Argentina and I live in Mar del Plata –a seaside tourist city known as “The Happy City”.
I’m a University English Teacher and an English<>Spanish Sworn Translator. I got a Bachelor’s degree in technical-scientific translation in December 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in sworn translation in 2015. I’ve been working as a Freelance Translator since 2009 and as a University Teacher since 2017. Nowadays, I teach English in Argentina for different courses of studies at university, including: Medicine, Environmental Management and Programming. I also teach Spanish and English for LingualMuse. I have students of all ages, from two to seventy years old! I really love and enjoy my profession. There is always a good opportunity to smile, laugh and have fun.
In my free time, I enjoy the sea and the beach. I’m used to going cycling and jogging all through the coastline. I love meeting with friends and relatives, socializing in general, making jokes and laughing out loud. I definitely enjoy that and it is an aspect of my personality that I always include in my lessons: having fun.
Teaching and learning a foreign language is an amazing process through which life turns happier, cultural barriers are broken down, and people become interconnected all over the world. I am thrilled to share my teaching/learning experience with you.
¡Bienvenidos a bordo! Welcome aboard! ☺
