1. Use the tools you like ✨
When it comes to the optimal learning setup, everyone's a little bit different. Do you prefer to take notes or be fully immersed in the conversation with your coach? Would you prefer to have them write down information as they present it or to summarize at the end? If you like to take notes yourself, do you like to write things down by hand or jot things down in your notes app? Have all your favorite tools on hand and set up your setup for success.
2. Get comfy ✨
This ain’t school, folks! This is your own personal learning adventure, and you should be sitting where you want to sit and wearing what you want to wear. When you’re feeling good, you learn more effectively, so get as comfy as you want!
3. Keep your goals in mind ✨
Language learning can be challenging, even with the perfect language coach. If you get frustrated, it can be helpful to see the bigger picture and remember the goals that bought you here to begin with.
4. Ask questions ✨
You’d think this goes without saying, but oftentimes students are hesitant to ask questions during class sessions. Trust us, your coach wants to hear and answer them!
5. Trust the process ✨
Oftentimes progress is not measurable by the day, but rest assured that if you show up and put in the work, you’ll get continually closer to fluency.
